To support The Docklands’ Garden we invite you to a Local Dinner Party and Target 3008 celebration. We encourage residents to “Celebrate the Docklands’ Garden” and celebrate sustainable local food.
Urban Reforestation is holding a special Local Food Dinner at Docklands on May 26th of 2011 Urban Reforestation is an innovative urban sustainability organisation. We create green places and ‘grow’ social innovation in urban communities.
This Garden has been created for you to plant, nurture and enjoy your herbs and flowers.
The discussion over the Garden’s future will be held over canapés and wine. We will also showcase the outcomes of the Target 3008 Project supported by the Victorian Government Sustainability Fund, which aims to reduce waste in Docklands and connect the community.
Come and view the Urban Reforestation film launch, photography exhibition and storyboard illustrating sustainable lifestyles of Docklands’ community members.
The event takes place on Thursday 26th of May. The launch will be in the Garden at 5.30pm and continue at Shop 7, 818 Bourke Street Docklands 3000 at 6.30pm.
