Ringwood

Ringwood is a major retail, commercial and residential focal point in the City of Maroondah.  VicUrban is working in partnership with key stakeholders to contribute to enhancing Ringwood as the activity and transport hub of Melbourne's eastern corridor.  Strategies have been developed to create a vibrant and sustainable centre providing good access to diverse retail, employment, educational and residential opportunities.

A range of initiatives will be undertaken to improve linkages within the Transit City area including upgrading of public transport facilities and improving pedestrian access. This will help to attract substantial private sector investment, producing a vibrant mix of business and residential amenities against the backdrop of the local natural environment.
