We believe good design is sustainable design. Excellence in urban design is a principle that we use to create enduring communities.

In planning our communities we endeavour to create places that fit well with their surroundings, which also have good connections to transport. This helps to build healthy and vibrant communities. VicUrban has won many prestigious awards and we are well-recognised for our work in this area.

Award winning recognition

• The ‘Peter Todd’ prize from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects was awarded for exemplary use of plant material within the landscape at Lancaster Gate.
• Three industry awards for the landscape and Water Sensitive Urban Design works at Tenterfield.
• Melbourne Docklands was awarded the 2004 Australia Award for Urban Design and the Planning Institute of Australia's (Victorian chapter) ESD Award in 2003 for the Melbourne Docklands ESD Guide.
