Aurora's charity house auction for The Northern Hospital

A large crowd attended a charity house auction at VicUrban’s Aurora development at Epping North on September 13, 2008 raising the highest amount so far for an Orbit home in The Northern Hospital charity auction.

VicUrban, Orbit Homes and their subbies and suppliers delivered one of the largest single donations this year to The Northern Hospital through a no-reserve auction of a house and land package. The Carlton Football Club joined in to help promote the event with players Matthew Kreuzer and Bryce Gibbs launching the event and attending hospital visits.

The auction drew a crowd of more than 200 people, resulting in a strong sale of $392,500, with every cent going to the Hospital.

VicUrban and Orbit's sponsorship of the Northern Hospital began in 2001 with house and land auctions at VicUrban’s Roxburgh Park development raising a total of $1.126 million. This year's Charity House and Land Auction was a four bedroom plus study luxury double story home at 134 Redding Rise, Aurora, Epping.
