First Home Owner Grant and Bonus Increase from 1 July 2010

If you are a first home buyer you may be eligable to receive financial assistance from the State and Federal Governments' First Home Buyer Grant Schemes.

It is important to determine your eligibility for the First Home Buyer Grant by visting the State Revenue Office for more information on the following conditions:

#For contracts entered into after 1 January 2010, to qualify for the Grant, the price of the property or construction of the home must not exceed $750,000. *For contracts entered into between 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2011, to qualify for the Bonus, the value of the property must not exceed $600,000.
